"Pinhead" is shown here at about one-third full size, one of Blaster Al's envelope paintings, signed in the corner "Blasto '93, Merry Xmas." A scrawly chatty letter within gives blow for blow the condition of a piece of my mail art that reached him torn & mutilated & stuffed inside one of the postal service's clear plastic disclaimer envelopes, you know the ones, they say something like, "We really care about your mail & know it is important to you, which is why we picked up the pieces & put them in this clear plastic envelope after we all got drunk at four in the morning & in fits of rage began destroying everybody's mail."
