Chilly Most & his Parakeet

   

   

This card from mail artist & musician Chilly Most is reproduced here about two-thirds actual size. Postmark is not readable, but mailed in the mid-1990s. Yellow tags are pasted to it with sundry info, including the title "New Horizons in Bird Poop!" which is the only indication that the spottiness transforming this vintage photograph into Found Art was the work of an artistic bird.

The other tags read accumulatively: "Part Mail, Mail Art, Pail Mart, Discount Smart, Art Pails In Comparison, Taking Mail To New Heights." Pasted to the reverse side is a clipping from a Minneapolis newspaper about a homeowner periodically visited by sewer rats from a basement drain which when cemented over forced them to arrive via the toilet.
