Dr. Lavona Surearts has been sending me stuff for a decade or so, some of it quite fanciful & elaborately hand drawn. But this piece of mail art from 12 July 2002 shows that imagination can be expressed with considerable simplicity. This is a tourist postcard of the interior of the Paramount Theater in the artist's home town of St. Cloud, Minnesota, to which the good doctor has added only a stage presence.
