Suanlin, a Virginia artist, tends mostly to do orientalist or asiatic images in her mail art, which is highly sophisticated collage work. Because her artwork is dependent to some extent on physical textures & subtleties of contrasts, the full impact isn't possible with a mere scan, but this'll give you an idea of this artist's fine work. It includes two rubberstamped images on different colored papers cut out to collage with, three pieces of torn paper in three natural colors, against two layers of fancy paper on cardstock. The address side uses more "torn paper" effects.
