Bentley Finds a Home (2003), Bentle and the Cactus Rustlers (2004), Bentley and the Great Fire (2004), and Bentley and the Monstrous Monsoon (2005).

The Bentley stories were first serialized in the Arizona Daily Star, afterward issued in hardcovers. The real Bentley belongs to Angela Anspach of Tucson (shown above holding her dearly beloved, and below when he was only six weeks old).

The books' author is Nick Pintozzi who helped illustrate as well, with illustrations also from Connie Pintozzi and Guillermo Munro.
