Elisabetta Canalis, best known lately as George Clooney's girlfriend, is an Italian actress, model, and television personality. While in Los Angeles in December of 2009, she adopted a chihuahua from a local shelter. She said the chihuahua will become a companion for her miniature doberman, Piero.

George was reportedly unenthusiastic about Elisabetta adding a chihuahua to their household, but then, reportedly, "the dog crawled into his lap and he was won over. Now he spoils it."
