Laura Joy Rennert is the author of such illustrated children's books as Buying, Training and Caring for Your Dinosaur (2009). She has a chocolate-brown chihuahua named Lola, whom Laura is convinced would get along fine with a tricerotops. Laura has posited Lori as her ghostwriter, the secret author of everything credited to Laura.
