The flying chihuahua Chip (whose real name is LIght Gaia) appears in the Sega playstation video games Sonic Unleashed, which include stand-alone short films of the adventures of Chip and Sonic the Super Hedgehog (or Werehog).
Some gamers argue whether he's really a chihuahua or a space-alien that looks like one but with a fat tail (or butt) and tiny fairy-wings. Chip's millions of years old and has amazing powers but for a while doesn't know it and behaves like any shivering scared chihuahua.
