Above) In 1999, Samson was one of the "top ten" agility dog competitors, and the first chihuahua to earn the USDAA's Snooker Master and Relay Master awards. Samson's registration name was "Delilah's Short-haired Hunk."

Below) It's today quite ordinary for tiny dogs to compete in agility sports, but Spuds from New Hampshire was the first chihuahua to enter Agility Championships. In 1996 he was the very first chi to gain the USDAA's top Master Agility Dog position, and a year earlier he'd been the first chi to win the Jumpers Masters. Both Samson and Spuds were featured in issues of Chihuahuas Magazine.
