In Oak Ridge, Tennessee, fire broke out in the home of Betty Drown. When fire trucks arrived, flames were already billowing out the bedroom window of the small one-story house. Betty had fled the house with her chihuahuas Bandit and Coco. Happily no one was injured.

In the second photo (below), Red Cross aide Judy Liby sits with Betty and a young neighbor, Unique Sheppard. Unique is holding Coco; Betty is holding Bandit.
