During a roadtrip in a Puegeot, two American guys (Sov and Dave of evilcyclying.com) were in France for the cycling competition. They picked up an orphaned passenger: "A little one-eyed chihuahua we found on the side of the road that we've named Hector. Good little dude. A hit with the ladies."

They called him "Hector the Killer Chihuahua" after he proved super-protective of his new pals. We can only hope they made sure he had a great home before they returned to America. [July 2005]
