With so many cases of animal neglect among hoarders and puppy mills, it's nice to know the good outcome for dogs that have been rescued. Dogs are so resiliant, and so happy to find their circumstances improved they don't necessarily show any post-trauma or behavior problems.

Four year old Chiquita is a case in point. Horrible to say, she spent nearly her entire life in a small bedroom with 49 other dogs.

The photo below shows her eight months after she was rescued and adopted. Her new owner Annette reported, "She has blossomed into a very loving, trusting and playful dog! She loves car-rides, chicken, playing dress-up and going to the dog park to play her other chi friends. We love her so much!"
