Little Berry and Leroy had a dog-and-pony act down on the farm.
One day Leroy accidentally stepped on his best friend's tennis-ball head, which should've been the end for Little Berry.
Berry gave out a high-pitched squeal of pain as Leroy quickly lifted his hoof.
Berry's owner Abbey Newton of Melbourne, Australia, took the semi-comatose chihuahua indoors expecting he would die in the night while she held him.
But with early light, Berry perked up and seemed to have no after-effects of being stuffed into the muck by a giant hoof. "In the morning," said Abbey, "she just got up and ate the other dog's breakfast."
