II might seem like only crazy decadent Americans dress up their little dogs in frilly dresses and designer collars that cost hundreds of dollars a pop. But these photos are from a 2009 Taiwan fashion show of one company's new summer line of dog clothes and accessories.

The majority of such pet fashion shows have the dogs carried by models (often in outfits that match the dogs'), but the canine models in Taipei saunter the catwalk (albeit on leashes) like true professionals.
