Longhaired chihuahua Tina is a lovely service animal. She visits libraries in the Dallas area and listens attentively as children read books to her -- books about the adventures of dogs, in a program called Pup Rally For Reading to promote literacy for young readers.

Some of Tina's favorite books are Chocolate at the Four Seasons (2007), Chula the Chihuahua (2007), and Frank is a Chihuahua (2007).

Tina's a member of Therapy Dogs, Inc., and is a member of Heart of Texas Therapy Dog. Her official designation is Reading Education Assistance Dog. She also visits nursing homes and hospitals and an Alzheimers center. Good dog! Good Tina!
