Shikoku Island
Jack-in-the-Pulpit

A. tosaense

The Shikoku Island jack-in-the-pulpit (Arisaema tosaense)
is exceedingly easy to grow, with a long-lasting flower,
shown here in May 2004. It is being encroached upon year by year
by what used to be quite a small Deer Fern, which is now quite a big Dear Fern.
