'Whitethroat' Deciduous Azalea
How beautiful the April buds of the
'Whitethroat' deciduous azalea, snowy white
with pink blush like a reflection of sunset.
Before the end of April (2004), the big puffy buds
are opening in the most amazingly redolent trusses
of frilly flowers. The pink blush has faded, & a bit of
yellow in each flower's throat is revealed.
Primary flowering time is throughout May, when every stroll
along its garden path treats the scenses with
rich perfume as well as visual delight.

'Whitethroat' Azalea Page

'Whitethroat ' Page along the Autumn Leaves Garden Walk
